CAPTURING LIFE...

An oldie but a goodie... a beautiful range from Scrap Collections, which I was privileged to create a layout with...

PS I LOVE YOU

Pink Paisley Pen Pals, in its red, blue and white and PINK postal theme, complete with typewriters and all inspired me to get out some of my favourite old photos of my wonderful husband, Kim and I.

The photos were mounted on the idea of a 'polaroid'!  I just love the way this turned out.

Thank you for looking.

SPRING FRESH

The beautiful cat in this layout is Phat Cat, who was originally from the farm, here where Memory Shed lives.

These beautiful fresh colours from Heidi Swapp Mixed Media complimented her beautifully.

CELEBRATE THE MOMENTS OF YOUR LIFE

KaiserCraft Base Coat range was the perfect background to showcase these pictures of the three Lisas.

Lisa Cupcake (aka Cunningham) had to have a foot operation, so Lisa Scrapbook (aka Myburgh) thought it was a good idea to take some before photos, and true to nature in a perfectly styled manner.

Lisa The Quiet One (aka Livie) joined in the fun and helped to take the photographs and aptly named the occasion 'Mind the Gap'!  as in the gap between Lisa Cupcake's toes that had to be repaired under anaesthetic.

Needless to say we all laughed until our stomach's hurt (and that was before the days of pilates!) so it had to be the result of us being silly.

The layout is entitled CELEBRATE THE MOMENTS OF YOUR LIFE, even if the circumstances are PRE-OP!!

A VINTAGE BEAUTY

The Fleur Range from Scrap Collections is a beautiful palette of lilac, green, mauve and purple and lent itself to creating a beautiful vintage themed layout.

CIRCLE OF LOVE

This is a layout that is great for those of you with lots of photos.  The concertina (folding) part is adhered to the top of the plastic once your layout (left and right hand sides) of the layout are in the album.

The paper is another beauty from Scrap Collections (www.scrapcollections.co.za).

WHO DOESN'T LOVE A ROAD TRIP

Scrap Collections has done it again - a beautiful collection of papers themed around travel.  I was honoured to have the opportunity to create this layout and sell it as a kit in the shop.

This photograph shows how the right hand side of the layout flips open to showcase even more precious photographs.

TIMELESS

Another beautiful collection of paper from Scrap collections that I was privelleged to use to design this layout.

BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND...

... Sam Ellis is back to present her brilliant photography course here at Memory Shed.  Secure your seat now to avoid disappoinment.

This is what I made with it - and thank you for looking.

TRUST

Last year my dear friend Gilly invited my wonderful husband and I to rhino sanctuary which will remain annonymous for obvious reasons. Whilst on this visit we were greeted by the cutest, most adorable orphaned Banded Mongooses. It was such a treat, blessing, honour to be able to interact with these little creatures. They absolutely trusted us beyond and the feeling of cuddling a wild animal like that will remain as one of the greatest gifts of my life forever.

DOWN AT THE BEACH

another beautiful range from www.scrapcollections.com was just what I needed to compliment these beautiful photographs of my godsons on holiday in Mocambique.

'TIS THE SEASON...

This beautiful range from Scrap Collections was ideal for annual Christmas photos. Thank you Lorna for such beautiful paper. www.scrapcollections.co.za
