MY NEIGHBOURS
... ON THE FARM...
WELCOME
Situated in the heart of Weltevreden Park, is Weltevreden Farm (http://www.weltevredenfarm.blogspot.com/ ), a place of beauty and tranquility. This special spot is home to The Memory Shed Scrapbooking Shoppe that opened in August 2008.
Preserving special memories is the main reason that most people scrap, but for many, being able to escape for a while from everyday life helps to drive this extremely popular hobby, and Weltevreden Farm is the ideal place to escape to.
The Memory Shed is one of four shops that are housed in what used to be a plant propogation shed and the ‘cottagey’ look and feel of the shop is well suited to the surrounds. Beautiful cats, French Rooster and their "chicks", a family of guinea fowl and numerous bird species are the local residents on site.
Passion is what it is all about... A passion for life, love, laughter, people, animals, children, friendship and family. At Memory Shed everyone is a friend, it is a catalyst for the formation of new friendships and fellowships... Stories of love and heartache are shared - joy is celebrated, shoulders are cried upon, forgiveness is encouraged and there is always someone there who is just willing to listen.
The Memory Shed aims to create an environment where scrapbook enthusiasts would feel relaxed and comfortable and classes will be kept small to ensure that clients receive the personal attention that they deserve.
For those that enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a slice of something nice while creating those special memories, will be delighted with the offering from the Second Cup Coffee Shop on site.

An "A - Z" Journey
One of the very popular courses offered at the Memory Shed is a calligraphy course which takes place over two full Saturday's or 4 morning classes. Gilly Steer teaches the calligraphy. She is a very talented and gifted teacher who knows all about beautiful handwriting. The second part of the course is an A - Z journal of your special things. This course has been run a number of times at the Memory Shed and has been an incredible journey for most students.
If you have six to eight people who are keen to do this course drop me an email and we will set a date. Alternatively next course dates will be advertised on this blog.
