THE DISCERNING ART OF...

CALLIGRAPHY with Gilly Steer.

Gilly Steer has been teaching calligraphy for a number of years and produces magnificent results. Here are a few samples of what you can do in a two day course. Email Lisa at myburgh.lisa@gmail.com for course details and prices.

WHERE LOVE RESIDES...

... my latest creative attempt. This cute supawood birdie house enjoyed a coat of paint on its roof and an awesome Prima 'wallpaper' covering.

This last public holiday (Human Rights Day in South Africa) found me in the clothing department of Pick'nPay Hyper. Saw these pretty Wellies and just had to have them. Not only do they look awesome in my 'happy space' in the garden but they are good for keeping my feet dry as well.

SOUL FOOD

These are three of my favourite photo's taken this weekend.

GIRLY GARDENING...

... just love these wellies i found today and they work so well with my 'happy place' chair (they are also good for keeping one's feet dry). Watch this space for the layout.

TODAY I AM GRATEFUL FOR...

... being blessed with the gift of creativity. Finally inspiration struck and I managed to finish the cover of my gratitude journal. The picture of the girl was copied from a picture i saw in an art magazine (i don't have it with me unfortunately to pay credit to the original artist) but the backgroud is my own.

This is part of course that is presented by Estelle Keen at the Memory Shed. Please email me for details on the next course.
