Imagine my suprise today when I ran into the first book I ever read...
The Little Red Hen and grains of wheat was the first book I learnt to read in Grade 1 in 1980.  This darling came come (looks like I need to learn how to spell again :-) home with me and is going to join the family of many other special books in my collection.

Lorna from constantly comes up with the most beautiful paper designs and I was honoured once again to be asked to create a layout using her papers.  The beautiful lady in the layout is my friend Denese.

All the paper and chipboard are available at Memory Shed now.

This is Savannah - a true beauty from the inside and out.  She loves the outdoors and can name and identify all the wildlife on the game farm where she lives.  Truly a free-spirited child and an absolute pleasure to spend time with.
This layout was created using the new Enmarc stencils and Dazzle spray which created the 'chicken wire' detail on the background.  The chipboard frames, swirls and birdie element in the bottom left hand corner is also an Enmarc product.

So blessed am I to be surrounded by such beauty, in the form of my friends children.  Tamryn just shy of six years old, is an absolute doll.  It is such a honour to photograph and spend time with such a beautiful child.

Come and browse the shops on the farm and the many stalls this Saturday ahead of Mothers' Day for that special gift for Mom.

Not only does Lisa - create the most beautiful and delicious cupcakes she creates beautiful layouts too.  I recently assisted Lisa in the design of this layout of her daughter and newphew at the seaside.  The photographs definately capture the special bond that this family has.
